BonumTV is a Hungarian Catholic TV channel based in Budapest. It has a small crew with 4 editors, a director, 2 cameramen, 2 technician, 2 video editors, a producer and a technical manager. I was one of the technicians, we worked in shifts.
That was my first job in my profession after I finished university and wow it was an experience. The most stressful job I have ever had was that tiny channel. It gave me a very strong foundation to my further career. I learnt how to work very fast, multitasking was an essential, and I had to work under a lot of pressure.
As a technician my tasks were the following: setting the studio, maintenance of the equipments, setting the microphones, organizing the recordings in the studios, managing the live broadcasting everyday, titling the live broadcasting, camera operating, playout, post-production/video editing, managing the prompter, arranging the changeovers, videomixing, weekend duty.
